Three steps, and Grok Build can read your site

A key is issued per site and cannot be talked into reading another one, so handing one to an agent hands it exactly what you meant.

  1. Issue a site key

    In Alexander: Settings, Integrations, MCP server. Keys look like alx_ and a fresh one is shown once, so paste it straight into the config below.

  2. In the terminal, add the server

    One command. It writes the entry for you and the header goes in with it.

    Grok Build keeps its servers in a TOML file, which this command writes for you. Grok on the web is a different route: grok.com/connectors, New Connector, Custom.

  3. Ask it something you already know
